Minor Oral Surgery

This includes procedures such as the removal of broken teeth, buried roots and partially impacted wisdom teeth and the removal of cysts. Occasionally we also perform apicetomies - surgery at the tip of a root of a failed root treatment. The treatment of choice when a root canal has failed is re-root treatment , but this is not always possible because of posts in teeth etc. It is only in these circumstances that an apicectomy should be considered.

We are well equipped for these procedures and have no hesitation treating patients who may be on anticoagulants such as Warfarin or aspirin either.
