Intra-Oral Camera
"A picture paints a thousand words"
The intra-oral camera allows patients to see close-up images of what is happening in their mouths. This allows them to fully understand what might be needed and why. The images are presented within seconds of being captured on a monitor in front of the patient.
Digital X-rays
X-rays play an invaluable role in the diagnosis of dental problems. Many patients are concerned about exposure to x-ray radiation. Computerised Dental Radiography (CDR) eliminates these worries because it requires 90% less radiation than conventional x-rays. The fact that CDR images can be magnified 300 x its normal size enhances the accuracy of diagnosis. Another advantage to the patient is that no time is wasted waiting for x-rays to be developed. This is because CDR images are almost instantaneous and appear on the monitor within 15 seconds of taking the shot. As CDR x-rays use no film or chemicals we reduce the amounts of hazardous waste being dumped, which is also good news for the environment.
